About the Health Centre

Glastonbury Health Centre was purpose-built in the 1970s and was the recipient of a design award.

It has easy access for all disabled patients with ramps at the entrance and wide doors. There is a low-level doorbell at the entrance to enable patients to request assistance if required. There are fully equipped toilets for the disabled.

The practice is well equipped in emergency and diagnostic equipment. As well as the usual range of surgeries and services, we offer a wide range of health promotion clinics.

Our practice is contracted to Somerset Primary Care Trust (PCT) - based at Wynford House, Lufton Way, Lufton, Yeovil, Somerset - to provide NHS services. We are a PMS (Personal Medical Services) practice. PMS is a flexible alternative to the traditional General Medical Services (GMS) contract under which most GPs have worked for the last 50 years.
