We have a keen interest in complementary therapies and support their use in the management of health and disease. Dr Welford is trained in homoeopathic medicine and is a consulting physician at the Bristol Homoeopathic Hospital.
The administrator for our scheme is Mrs Sarah Wilcox, one of our secretaries.

We are very interested in promoting the integration of NHS general practice and complementary medicine, and have established a charitable trust known as The Somerset Trust For Integrated Health Care - Charity Registration Number 1065943.
The aims of the trust are:
1. To provide access to complementary medicine at an affordable rate (currently free for
acupuncture and osteopathy, otherwise £10.00 per treatment).
2. To encourage the development of complementary medicine in other general practices.
3. To research and promote the benefits of integrated complementary medicine within the NHS.
